How to use the SRC
This site currently has a map of A level at the Johns Hopkins MSE Library. The maps displayed on this website only correlate to the area of the library where study rooms may be found. Currently A level has studyroom sensors in place and will display the ocuppation status of its studyrooms.

The sensors sense for the occupation of student in study rooms and places one of three different states for each room. Each state has a correlating color which is placed over the study room location on the map. Because of the nature of the system one can expect a 3 to 5 minute delay for a state designation to change for any given room. Below you you will find a list of the possible color designation and what each one means.

Green: the room is available
This is only shown when the lights are off in the room. So please turn off the lights when you leave.

Purple: the room may be availble
The room's lights are on. However, no movement has been sensed for 3 to 6 minutes. Mayber someone left the lights on. Maybe someone's sleeping.

Red: the room is unavailable
Movement has been detected. People are actively studying in the room.
